​​Join The Pacific Northwest Battery Collaborative to learn what it will take to build a truly transparent and sustainable battery supply chain and what role each of us can play in making it a reality.

​Global battery sales have been doubling every 2–3 years. Manufacturing capacity hit roughly 3 TWh in 2024, and if all announced projects come online, it could triple within the next five years. But this breakneck growth comes with complex challenges. Cobalt mining, critical for many battery chemistries, has been repeatedly tied to child-labor abuses. And the battery itself is often the largest source of embodied emissions in any battery-powered product.
