Seattle Climate Tech: August 21 - August 28
Meetups, farm walks, green transportation, and more this week!
Hi friends,
As wildfire season rages on, climate change and mitigation strategies have been top of mind. We have some great events lined up this week where you’ll learn about clean energy and sustainable practices that are helping move the needle for climate action.
Starting on Tuesday and running through Thursday, learn from subject matter experts on clean vehicle technology at the 🚚 Green Transportation Summit & Expo in Tacoma. On Thursday, head to Fremont to discuss everyday sustainable practices at 🏘️ Change Makers: Neighborhood Revitalization (Sustainable Development) and then head to the 👋 August Seattle Climate-Tech Meetup for a discussion on alternative proteins. Finish off the week with the 🚜 21 Acres Farm Walk on Saturday in Woodinville to learn about agriculture and land stewardship as a climate mitigation strategy.
As always, scroll down for the full list of upcoming events!
Cheers,
Maya and Alec
