Happy holidays! Climate-friendly gift ideas, PNW Battery Collaborative recap, and new climate opportunites!
Happy holidays! We hope you have a restful two weeks as we close out 2024. We may only have a few more climate events to highlight for this year but we are getting pretty excited about everything to come in 2025!
If you’re still searching for some last minute gift ideas this holiday season, consider some climate-friendlier options! Just a few examples ~
A gift card for your local zero waste shop
A letter of gratitude
Tickets to a concert or show
A beginning woodworking class
An item from your local thrift store (I personally found a beautiful Japanese-made tea pot for a white elephant gift exchange 🫖)
A promise to help with a task that has been on the back burner
As always, scroll down for the full list of upcoming events.
Until next year,
Asha, Jason, Jordan, and the Climate Tech Cities Team

📝 Climate Storytelling 2075 is back for its second climate anthology series. The 6-month, cohort-based program centers around the development of dynamic and multimedia narratives that address the question: How do you envision a desirable climate future in the year 2075? The program gives young people from frontline communities a platform for world-building that leverages the arts and storytelling to explore solutions for adaptation, mitigation, and sustainability at local, regional, and global scales. Proposals are due by January 31st, 2025.
