Seattle Climate Tech: Feb 11 - Feb 16
vote today in the local special election + workshops & networking opportunities
Hello friends,
Today is the last day to turn in your ballot 🗳️ for the February special election. If you haven’t already done so, make sure to fill out your ballot, sign the back of the envelope and drop it off at your closest ballot drop box by 8pm tonight! As of this morning voter turnout is only around 21%. This is a great opportunity to make your voice heard!
If you are unsure whether you live in a district with an election, you can double check here.
This week we have some great workshops covering topics such as housing, climate justice, battery stationary storage, and more! As always, scroll down for the full list of upcoming events.
Cheers,
Asha and the Climate Tech Cities Team

📝 Climate Change Resources
Thank you to the Los Angeles Climate Tech team for the following information!
Federal environmental data and resources are being taken down. Here is a list of helpful resources amidst the administration change:
The organization Public Environmental Data Partners is committed to preserving and providing public access to federal environmental data. They have identified 57 high-priority databases, of which they’ve archived 37 thus far, including the Environmental Justice Screening and Mapping Tool (EJScreen). Would you like to contribute your skills to this effort? You can get involved here.
Legislative, Regulatory, and Government Documents back ups can be found on Urban Ocean Lab’s Resource Hub.
The first ever U.S. National Nature Assessment has been cancelled and its webpages removed. You can still download the zeroth-order draft here. Many of the (volunteer, non-federal) authors are still committed to its completion.
A People’s EPA (APE) is a website for everyone to understand the Environmental Protection Agency's national and global role.
