On Wednesday start off by listening to Voices of Resistance: Indigenous Experiences in Climate Justice and Action and then head over to 9Zero to take part in the 2 Tons to Save The Planet Workshop or Foundations of Climate Tech Marketing - Session 1
On Thursday join Women and Climate Seattle to learn about and Volunteer at the Refugee Artisan Initiative

Climate Opportunities
📝 Climate Storytelling 2075 is back for its second climate anthology series. The 6-month, cohort-based program centers around the development of dynamic and multimedia narratives that address the question: How do you envision a desirable climate future in the year 2075? The program gives young people from frontline communities a platform for world-building that leverages the arts and storytelling to explore solutions for adaptation, mitigation, and sustainability at local, regional, and global scales. Proposals are due by January 31st, 2025.

She'll set the stage for what advocacy actually makes a difference, how to engage with local government, and how to boost your efficacy.
🌎 Voices of Resistance: Indigenous Experiences in Climate Justice and Action

This panel will explore the intersection of climate justice and Indigenous rights, highlighting the challenges and triumphs of these communities. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the global fight for environmental protection and the critical role of Indigenous leadership in this struggle. The event will also feature a discussion on the potential for a global delegation on climate justice and the importance of diverse perspectives in this movement.

“2tonnes” is a fun and immersive workshop that will project you to 2050 to better imagine what the transition to a low-carbon world could look like. With your team, your mission is simple yet complex: to mitigate climate change. You will build your scenario, choosing individual and collective actions to initiate a low-carbon transition. Using our simulation model, visualize in real time the impact of your decisions on your individual carbon footprint, and on the rest of the world's!

Join the Refugee Artisan Initiative (RAI) for an inspiring evening of hands-on support! You’ll tour RAI’s Maker Space, where refugee and immigrant women artisans transform discarded materials into beautiful, sustainable products. Afterward, lend a hand by preparing materials and organizing inventory, directly supporting the artisans in crafting their next creations and helping to keep textiles out of landfills.
RAI empowers refugee and immigrant women through artisan skills training and micro-business development, fostering a prosperous and inclusive transition to the U.S. By upcycling materials like coffee bags and fire hoses, they create unique, handcrafted items while diverting thousands of pounds of waste from landfills each year.
⚡️ Lowell & Vikram's Learnings from Founding a Residential Decarb Business
