Brian will introduce the JumpStart Business Network and share how innovators and entrepreneurs in the climate space can get involved in 2026. Learn how JumpStart connects contractors, startups, and small businesses to clean energy projects, workforce development opportunities, and public contracting pathways — all designed to accelerate our region’s transition to a sustainable future.

This month at Soapbox, we’ve been exploring community resilience. For Reflect night, we’re rounding out the month with our annual tradition: Better World Bingo!
We’ll kick things off with pub-style trivia, then shift into a hands-on activity about how you want to grow this year while building real local connection within your self, your household, and your neighborhood. Art supplies provided — all you’ll need to bring is yourself!

🚲 Walking and biking ideas for Mayor Wilson
When: Thursday, Jan 29, 5:30pm – 7:00pm
Where: 9Zero Climate Innovation Hub, 1215 4th Ave 15th Floor, Seattle, WA 98101
What: A listening session to collect ideas around walking, biking, and streets for people policies for the new mayoral administration.
How: We will break out into small groups to discuss potential policy and programs that could further mayor Wilson's transportation agenda, with a focus on walking, biking, and placemaking initiatives.
Who: While open to 9Zero members and others, this event is designed for members of Seattle Neighborhood Greenways local groups who have preexisting knowledge of topics and plans like the Seattle Transportation Plan, Vision Zero,
and SDOT's Climate Change Response framework.
