For the meetups of the week, hang out at a houseboat on South Lake Union on Monday at the ⛵️ B Social: Floats on a Boat, join the hardware-themed 👋 July Seattle Climate-Tech Meetup on Wednesday in Seattle, and the 🍻 Net Impact July Happy Hour in West Woodland on Thursday. For sustainable clothing and fashion, join the 👗 Meet the Maker: Victoria Contreras book talk in Central District on Thursday and interactive sustainable design event with 👖 Summer PopUp: Transcend x Amotha Present an Evening of Sustainable Fashion on Sunday in Kirkland. If you want to get some fresh air this Saturday, join the 🥕 UW Farm Volunteer Part in U District or enjoy the 🚜 21 Acres Farm Walk in Woodinville.

🌲 Open call for speakers for the PNW Climate Conference!
Work on Climate Seattle is looking for speakers for climate-themed lightning talks held during the PNW Climate Conference - Tuesday September 26th 6-8 pm. We’re looking for all kinds of stories and all kinds of people, so if this sounds interesting to you, we're excited to see your submission! Talks will be 5 minutes long and you can include slides and props. Check out the form link in the title above. We'd appreciate your submission by August 6, but will announce a week ahead of time when we officially close the link. A summer gathering of people who want to use business as a force for good. Feel free to bring friends, of course. And no, they/you don't need to be a B Corp to attend, but interest in the movement is a strong plus since that's what we'll be geeking out on. We'll be gathering from about 4-7 pm, with no specific agenda other than connecting with people who want to use business as a force for good.

This month, the continuation of our monthly meet-up will be focused on how hardware can be part of the solution to climate change, hosted by Made Cascade. Made Cascade's mission is to create outstanding hardware and product solutions, working to be a force multiplier and a go-to resource, to eliminate barriers and bring ideas successfully to life.

Founded in 2008, Net Impact Seattle (NISEA) has been engaging with Seattle’s diverse emerging leaders for over a decade. Led by a volunteer leadership board, our chapter is a platform and a network reaching over 1,300 individuals who are interested or active in creating meaningful social and environmental change within their sectors. Come enjoy drinks and mingle with local professionals and students!
👗 Meet the Maker: Victoria Contreras

The Remake Seattle Community is joining forces with The Cura Co. again this summer to talk about the impacts of climate change, focusing on the things we love to wear and the people who make them. We will be reading Climate Optimism by Zahra Biabani and, along the way, holding space for intimate conversations with local makers.
🥕 UW Farm Volunteer Party

Come join the UW Farm team and learn how to grow sustainable and organic produce! Activities could include; planting, harvesting, weeding, and other various farm projects that help the UW Farm run smoothly.
🚜 21 Acres Farm Walk
When: Sat, Jul 22nd from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Where: 21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living, 13701 NE 171st Street Woodinville, WA 98072
Join us for an in-person tour on the 21 Acres Farm to explore how agroecology, soil health and land stewardship can build resilient local food economies and support direct climate action. Walk along and visit our organic fields, wetlands, solar-powered projects, and much more. Every fourth Saturday of the month, we uncover what farming in the Sammamish Valley looks like. Bring your questions!
👖 Summer PopUp: Transcend x Amotha Present an Evening of Sustainable Fashion

Discover the latest trends in sustainable fashion and learn how to incorporate eco-friendly pieces into your wardrobe. The event will feature a chance to shop the gorgeous, sustainably made pieces by both brands and a chance to meet the founders. You'll also indulge in delicious treats and get creative at the block printing station.

We are expanding! We started as an 8-person dinner and now have over 4,000 members in our community. We’ve had people across the world reach out to us to start their own chapters - so we’re launching a new Climate Tech Cities organization this year!
