Seattle Climate Tech: June 5 - June 12
Eleven climate events in Seattle this week! Circular economy conferences, panels, and happy hours, climate design, green buildings, book signings, and more events this month.
Hello and welcome to the first edition of Seattle Climate Tech!
You’re getting this email because you’ve attended or signed up for a previous Seattle Climate Tech event. We’re kicking off a newsletter that rounds up in-person events and opportunities in the greater Seattle area. There’s a ton happening, and we’re excited to build an even broader community of climate professionals in Seattle.
Here are our picks for the week:
The big event of the week is Monday: Greenbiz’s ♻️ Accelerating the Circular Economy conference downtown at the Hyatt
Learn about circular supply chains and with local startup 🍻 Rheaply at their Happy Hour on Tuesday
Wednesday, head to a panel on 🟢 The Practicality of Circularity hosted by Synapse downtown, with Zahlen Titcomb, CEO of Ravel, and Adrian Tan, from Recycling & Environmental Services at King County Seattle
Meet designers and climate enthusiasts on Thursday at the ✍️ Climate Design Social at Indigo Slate Gallery in the ID
Read on for a more detailed list of this weeks events and for even more upcoming events this month!
Cheers,
About us
Maya works at climate tech startup Yard Stick PBC remotely in Seattle (she is always down to chat about soil carbon MRV) and Alec works on building decarbonization and renewable energy. Alec has led the charge for bringing a climate tech newsletter to SF and NYC, we’re excited to officially kick one off for the Seattle area.
More and more events are popping up in our area and online communities for Seattleites (like in My Climate Journey and Work on Climate groups) are growing quickly. We thought it would be helpful to compile a list of events and opportunities all in one place!
We’d love to hear any feedback as we get started, please let us know what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d like to see more of.
