You name it and WA has policy without serious follow through. How do we fix this problem?

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will bring MILLIONS of people to Seattle. In our "learn" night the previous Tuesday, we got educated on what the City of Seattle is doing for it.
Soapbox Project is one of the few community groups actively imagining, preparing, and advocating for what we can do in summer 2026. This ACT night on "sports and sustainability" will have action stations like:
Writing to local reps with what we need to see in the next year
Advocating for circular economy measures for sports and entertainment (whether you're a fan or a singer or a rec player or something else)
Brainstorming projects to submit for the HopeCorps art installations
Signing up for a community volunteering project that combines physical activity with action!
