โBring your laptop or notebook. We'll be doing some basic work to help you start your PR project right away.

Join Seattle Women and Climate in Tacoma to visit Campfire Coffee and the WW Seymour Botanical Conservatory! Weโll start off the morning by visiting Campfire Coffee, an organization committed to honoring traditional methods of roasting coffee (over a campfire!), as well as getting diverse people from all walks of life inspired and excited to get outdoors and enjoy life, disconnected. Weโll then make our way over to the WW Seymour Botanical Conservatory to tour the Victorian greenhouse, which has over 500+ plant species. โIf you are looking for an opportunity to talk about climate with professionals identifying as women or non-binary, you are in the right place! No climate experience necessary.

โLet's get outside and get our hands dirty with Dirt Corps and Trees for Seattle. Dirt Corpsโ mission is to create access to green careers for all people, working towards a healthy environment, engaged communities, and a sustainable economy throughout the Puget Sound region. Amazing! They also facilitate land restoration work parties combined with education on tree care. Let's join them to care for trees in Martha Washington Park.
โโโSoapbox Project is a third place, hosting events every Tuesday for climate solutions and community building. But we also want to get together and do things outside of Tuesdays. We'll connect with nature while improving outdoor community spaces like Martha Washington Park.
