So you’ve started your climate business, and you’ve got some interest, maybe even a few sales, but the momentum seems to have stopped. What do you do? A business that provides customer value and helps to save the planet feels like it should be a no-brainer!
You could just sell harder, make more calls, and send more emails, but to get to that next level of growth an order of magnitude higher, you need good strategic marketing. In an interactive roundtable discussion over tea and cake (I hate boring PowerPoint presentations), I will walk you through how to strategically think through creating a marketing campaign.
📖Investigating Solarpunk, Part 2: Definitions, Metrics, and Structures
When: Wed, Nov 5th, 4:00pm-6:00pm
Where: 9Zero Climate Innovation Hub, 1215 4th Ave 15th Floor, Seattle, WA 98101
Following up from our first event, let’s take the next step, zeroing in more on what solarpunk is, especially compared to other movements like ‘bright green environmentalism’ or ‘ecomodernism’.
We will brainstorm what the ‘goal’ is or what good ‘metrics’ might be to achieve those goals. Finally, we will look at the different levers to change systems to achieve those goals as a way to inform how existing goals are embedded in our current system.
🌱Volunteer to Compost with Restaurant 2 Garden
When: Sat, Nov 8th, 10:30am-1:00pm
Where: Danny Woo Community Garden, 620 South Main Street, Seattle, WA 98104
Join Restaurant 2 Garden on Saturdays to compost restaurant food scraps into nutritious compost for elders of the Danny Woo Community Garden. Help and get to know our hyperlocal composting operation. We collect food scraps from restaurants in our neighborhood and process it into nutritious compost for gardeners at the Danny Woo Community Garden. With a few processing methods to create our compost, there will always be something to do, and we love sharing about how we do it!
