Seattle Climate Tech: Oct 31 - Nov 6
👻 A Space Needle tour, gaming out climate change, cider and sustainability, a smart buildings happy hour, and more events this month!
Hi friends,
There’s a little less that’s directly climate tech related this week, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some great things happening. Here are our picks for the week:
On Thursday, join the Seattle 2030 District for a tour of the Space Needle to learn how the landmark approaches sustainability [Ed. note: this is sold out, but we’re hoping a waitlist will open up]
Head to the Capitol Hill library on Saturday for Climate Fresk, a game on climate change. In just 3 hours, the collaborative Climate Fresk workshop will teach you the fundamental science behind climate change and empower you to take action.
Plan ahead for next week and join the Work on Climate community fro Sustainable Sips with Schilling Cider in Fremont next Tuesday. In 2023, Schilling became the first in its industry to commit to an electric vehicle fleet for its sales force, significantly reducing the company's carbon emissions and leading the industry to a greener way to do business.
Coming up next Wednesday, swing by a happy hour at the Smart Buildings Center, hosted by the NW Energy Efficiency Council to celebrate the transformative shifts that have shaped our industry over the last 5 years.
As always, scroll down for the full list of upcoming events.
Happy Halloween!
